Host Colleges Announced for IHSA 2018 Western Semi-Finals

Anne Brzezicki Founder of Three IHSA Teams and Western Divisions Honored for Career at MTSU

Murfreesboro, Tenn. – Sept. 26, 2017 – Anne Brzezicki was honored at a retirement reception at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Sept. 22, for her many contributions and 35 years of service as to the equestrian program. She played a significant role in the growth of the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) programs by founding programs at three universities and establishing the Western divisions in 1978. At the event, the university's equestrian arena was named for Brzezicki.

Fairfield, Conn. – Sept. 22, 2017 – The school year is kicking off and it is not too late to start an Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) program at your college or university. There is a long list of benefits to starting an IHSA program. The IHSA Provides Clarification for Dual Membership Notice to Member Colleges and Universities

Fairfield, Conn. – Sept. 7, 2017 –The Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) sent an official memorandum to their board members, coaches for all colleges and universities currently enrolled or intending to enroll as members of the IHSA for the 2017-2018 academic year. The memorandum was an official notification that, until further evaluation by the IHSA executive committee, as of Aug. 30, 2017, any college or university that elects to join the National Equestrian Collegiate Association (NCEA) will be ineligible to join the IHSA.

National Champions Savannah College of Art and Design Host PAEC Caribbean Junior Jumping Challenge

Hardeeville, S.C. – Sept. 1, 2017 – The Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) three-year national champions Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) hosted an international jumping event at the Ronald C. Waranch Equestrian Center Aug. 17-19. The Pan-American Confederation (PAEC), includes Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) Groups IV, V and VI and is comprised of a span from Canada to Argentina.
