Collegiate Riders to Descend upon the Kentucky Horse Park for the 2023 IHSA National Championship

The 2023 Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) National Championship will be held May 4-7 at Kentucky Horse Park's Alltech Arena in Lexington. IHSA Nationals will feature hundreds of riders from across the U.S. and Canada competing in all levels of hunter seat equitation on the flat and over fences and Western divisions, including horsemanship, ranch riding and reining.

UNIVERSITY OF FINDLAY, MIDWAY UNIVERSITY AND BLACK HAWK COLLEGE TEAMS TOP THE IHSA WESTERN SEMI-FINALS, SPONSORED BY NRHA

Gladys, Va.– March 22, 2023 – The Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) held its Western Semi-Finals, sponsored by the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA), March 18-19. Hosting the events were the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio, hosted by Western Area 61, Mississippi State University, hosted by Western Area 52, and at Grand Oaks, Florida, hosted by Western Area 50. Western Semi-Finals is the qualifying event to determine which Western teams and individuals will compete at the IHSA National Championship Horse Show in the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, May 4-7.

The leadership of the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) is pleased to announce that the Equestrian Fitness Academy (EFA) is now the “Official Fitness and Wellness Program of the IHSA.” IFA FIT produces the Equestrian Fitness Academy (EFA), a digital program specializing in health and wellness programs, to improve riders’ physical and mental states. The fitness program focuses on stability, suppleness, strength and stamina.

Back on Track®, has been named “The Therapeutic Product Choice of the IHSA.” In addition, Back on Track® will hold title sponsorship of the coveted IHSA Western High-Point Rider Division.

IHSA TO OFFER USHJA OUTREACH CLASSES AT ZONES AND NATIONALS

GLADYS, Va. – Sept. 19, 2022 – The Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) and longtime membership partner, the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA), are pleased to debut a collaboration to benefit the membership. For the 2022/2023 season, IHSA Zone Championships and the 2023 IHSA National Championship Horse Show will be designated as USHJA Outreach Competitions.
