Official 2014 IHSA National Horse Show Logo Released! Acclaimed Equestrian Artist Judy Goldthwait Returns to Design 41st IHSA National Horse Show Poster and Program Cover

Fairfield, CT (April 1, 2014) To an artist, being selected to create the poster and cover art for a national equestrian championship is as prestigious an honor as qualifying competitively is to riders, so it is with the warm acclaim of a returning champion that the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) is pleased to announce that Cazenovia, NY equine and pet portraitist Judy Goldthwait, agreed to return as show program and poster artist for the 41st edition of the IHSA National Horse Show, May 1-4, at the Pennsylvania Expo Center in Harrisburg. Goldthwait will be on hand throughout the show, selling and autographing these one-of-a-kind IHSA National Horse Show collectibles.

Zone 1 Region 3 Show Season Wrap-Up

Zone 1, Region 3 finished out the regular season yesterday with competition at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Riders faced off as they vied for the final points to send them to Regionals. As the last class ended and the points were tallied, Mount Holyoke College came out on top with 37 points. Smith College took home Reserve High Point College honors with 29 points, followed by the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, with 28 points. Fourth place in the standings went to Westfield State University with 24 points, followed closely by Springfield College with 22, Amherst College with 19, and Williams College with 17 points.

The University of Findlay English IHSA Team Wins Region Zone 6 Region 1

March 2, 2014: Lake Erie College hosted the final English intercollegiate horse show of the season on March 1st and 2nd of 2014. The weekend started off with a high point victory from Lake Erie College with senior, Emily Eckenberger of Lake Erie College winning High Point Rider. Bowling Green State University won Reserve High Point Team with Olivia Stonehouse of Kenyon College winning Reserve High Point Rider.
