Visit the IHSA Booth at Equine Affaire and Learn All About Collegiate Equestrian Competition

Gladys, Va. ­– Nov. 8, 2023 – Calling all college-bound equestrian enthusiasts of all riding levels and their parents! The Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) invites you to visit our booth in the Better Living Building No. 917 at Equine Affaire in Springfield, Massachusetts, Nov. 9-12. Learn everything about the IHSA and collegiate competition. Find out which colleges and universities host IHSA teams and how to start an IHSA team. Meet with many of the colleges and universities that will be onsite and participate in a college scavenger hunt.

The IHSA offers hunter seat competition on the flat and over fences and Western horsemanship, ranch riding and reining. Divisions range from beginner to advanced in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Join us Thursday, Nov. 9 from 4:45 to 6:15 p.m. in the Young Arena for "Collegiate Riding and Competing: The Ultimate Catch Ride," a seminar and Q&A session with hunter seat and Western demonstrations led by Mount Holyoke Director of Intercollegiate Coaching and Varsity Hunt Seat Team Coach C.J. Law and Mount Holyoke Head Western Coach Kelli Wainscott.
