FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Aug. 6, 2018– The Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) launched a redesign of its website, ihsainc.com, to provide visitors, members, partner organizations and fans with a much–improved resource for relevant and easy-to-find information about the IHSA. The new website supports a brand refresh which kicked off with the introduction of the new brand identity in Feb. 2018.
The revamped site features an updated look with enhanced features, including easier navigation, updated information more search options.
The new website also includes:
- Detailed information for college-bound riders
- How to join and start an IHSA team
- Newsletter sign-up for non-members
- A searchable calendar of all scheduled IHSA competitions
- Results of major championships
- A searchable list of the more than 400 participating colleges and universities by name, state, province and discipline
- Member resources with information for individual members, coaches and alumni
- Scholarship information
- Sponsor listings with links and more
In the News tab, users will find a new Featured Alumni page with fun information about fascinating and notable people who have competed as members of the IHSA. IHSA will contribute to the page often.
IHSA leadership thanks our 2018 photography interns, Lisa Giris (New York University, 2018) and Madison Dempster (St. Lawrence University, 2021), for their significant photographic contribution to the look and feel of the website. IHSA is also grateful to Al Cook Photography (alcookphoto.com), IHSA National Championship Horse Show official photographer and Diana DeRosa Photography for their contributions.
Patte Zumbrun, board member and secretary of the IHSA, project managed the effort; communications partner EQ Media provided overall concept, art direction and editorial and longtime IHSA developers, Aardvark Web Design produced the site, which links the membership and show management system with the new front end. IHSA Second Vice President, Kelly Francfort oversaw the project.
