McGuinn Farms, Inc. Stable & Tack Room Fixtures Named an Official Stable Accessory Company of IHSA

Fairfield, CT (February 12, 2017) IHSA vice president and US Military Academy (West Point) coach Peter Cashman is pleased to announce that the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association has welcomed McGuinn Farms, Inc. Stable & Tack Room Fixtures of Fort Lauderdale, Florida as an Official Stable Accessory Company of IHSA, joining the oldest and largest collegiate riding organization in North America as it strides into celebrating 50 years since its founding in 1967.

“The details matter,” said Liz McGuinn, president of McGuinn Farms, Inc. “Riding, training and showing horses are very difficult endeavors. Your equipment should be as perfect as possible to help make your time with horses enjoyable and successful.  We are excited to bring our McGuinn standards of perfection to serve the college teams who deserve nothing less.” McGuinn Farms will supply two trunks for award winners, a small trunk for the coach of the USEF IHSA Cacchione Cup winner, and totes for each coach of the two winning teams and to the provider of the USEF IHSA Cacchione Cup-winning horse. The IHSA National Championships are May 4-7 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.

Cashman said, “As IHSA celebrates its first 50 years and looks to its next, serving more than 400 institutions and 10,000 college riders, we proudly welcome McGuinn Farms as an Official Stable Accessory Company at such an historic juncture in IHSA riding.”

IHSA promotes competition for full time student riders of all skill levels, who compete individually and as teams at regional to national levels based on the principle that any college student should be able to participate in horse shows regardless of financial status, gender or riding level. In 2017 IHSA celebrates the Golden 50th Anniversary of its 1967 founding by Fairleigh-Dickinson University sophomore Robert E. 'Bob' Cacchione and today serves more than 400 member institutions and 10,000 riders annually.
